Good Evening Friends,
Today started out being a very busy day! First I over slept (UGG!!) I had the alarm set for 4:30 AM (UGG!) Steve woke me up at 5:30 and said wasn't you getting up at 4:30?? Crap! So I jumped up and jumped in the shower, we where still on the road by 6:00 and was at the airport at 7:30. It snowed all the way there and the roads where pretty sloppy. When we walked into the airport there was hugh long line and we just all looked at each other! Lucky us, that was not the airline they where flying so they walked right up and got checked in and went right through security. We thought for sure that the security was going to be bad, but they said there was nothing to it.
Steve and I started home and the temperature must have dropped because the roads where really bad we watched people slip and slid all over the place. We got home at 9:30 and I was back in bed by 9:40 for a 2 hour nap (happy face). I told Ashley to call me when they landed in Chicago, and I thought it was funny that they hadn't called yet. Needless to say the pilot must have took the scenic route because they got in a hour later than they where suppose to?? They only left 10 minutes later than they where suppose to, go figure. So of course they missed their connecting flight, they where so upset. Mike had to go to school tonight so they had to get home. So of course the guy at the gate was not very nice and told them they would have to get on another flight so when they got to that gate, it had already been changed to another gate so when they finally got to the right gate then they told them they had no seats and that they would be on standby!!! Well, God was looking out for them and they had seats and landed in Phoenix at 3:30, got home at 4:30 and he left for school at 5:30. I told them "Welcome to the flying world" So they are home safe and sound Heather went back to East Lansing tonight and the house is soooo quiet. I think Jasper is depressed, because the little guy has been laying around all night. Steve keeps saying he has a stomach ache, but dogs are smart, he knows that his mom and dad are gone again!
This afternoon was my Regular Stamp Camp, only had a hand full of people but I got a lot of stamping done myself. I started some swap cards for Leadership next week and also got some cards done up ahead for myself maybe I won't be late getting cards to people this year! You would think the "Card Lady" would get the cards to the people on time!!
So this is one of the cards I am doing for my Mini Stamp Camp this month:
Stamp Sets: Bloomin Beautiful #111490 $25.95
Cardstock: Perfect Plum and Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum and Mellow Moss
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch
Well it's 11:30 and since I only got 3 hours of sleep last night I am really ready to hit the hay. Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow
